Senior BJP leader Vinay Katiyar has called for a fair and impartial investigation into the Ram Mandir donation theft case, saying that anyone found guilty, regardless of position, should face legal action.
Katiyar Calls for Impartial Probe
Senior BJP leader Vinay Katiyar has demanded a transparent and impartial investigation into the alleged Ram Mandir donation theft case in Ayodhya. Responding to the ongoing probe, he said that if evidence establishes wrongdoing, no individual should be spared, irrespective of their position or influence.
‘Law Should Take Its Own Course’
Speaking on the controversy, Katiyar stated that those responsible for the alleged misappropriation of temple donations should be brought to justice. He added that if the investigation finds anyone guilty, including senior office-bearers associated with the temple trust, they should face legal consequences.
His remarks came amid growing scrutiny over the alleged theft of donations from the Ram Mandir counting centre, where multiple arrests have already been made and investigators continue to examine financial records and security arrangements.
Investigation Continues
Authorities are probing allegations that temple donations were siphoned off over a period of time. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is examining CCTV footage, financial transactions, and other evidence to determine the extent of the alleged embezzlement.
Officials have maintained that the investigation is ongoing and that action will be taken based on the evidence collected.
Political Reactions Intensify
Katiyar’s comments have added a new political dimension to the high-profile case, with opposition parties demanding accountability and transparency while the investigation progresses. The case has attracted nationwide attention due to the significance of the Ram Mandir and the large volume of donations it receives from devotees.
