Russia carried out one of its largest overnight attacks on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, launching a wave of missiles and drones that killed civilians, injured several others, and caused widespread destruction across multiple districts. The assault damaged residential buildings, triggered fires, and prompted emergency rescue operations as authorities searched for survivors.
According to Ukrainian officials, the strikes targeted both residential neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure, leaving apartment buildings partially collapsed and several areas engulfed in flames.
