CM Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates Gramin Sainik Hospital in Mau, Calls Rural Self-Reliance Key to Viksit Bharat
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday inaugurated the Gramin Sainik Hospital in Tajopur village of Mau district and praised Brigadier Dr. P. N. Singh for returning to his native village after decades of service in the Indian Army to work for rural development and nation-building.
Addressing a public gathering, the Chief Minister said true patriotism lies in repaying the debt to one’s birthplace and motherland through service and social contribution.
“After serving in the Indian Army and prestigious institutions for 35 years, Brigadier Dr. P. N. Singh returned to his village to establish healthcare, education and employment institutions. This is not just institution-building, but nation-building,” CM Yogi said.
CM Yogi Calls Tajopur a Model of Rural Development
The Chief Minister described Tajopur village as a living example of rural self-reliance and nation-building inspired by the ancient Indian philosophy of “Janani Janmabhoomishcha Swargadapi Gariyasi”.
Referring to Lord Ram’s words after the victory over Lanka, CM Yogi said no success can be greater than one’s birthplace and motherland.
He stated that Brigadier Dr. P. N. Singh had transformed Tajopur into a center for healthcare, education and employment by establishing institutions such as:
- Gramin Sainik Hospital
- Sainik Nursing College
- Pharmacy College
- Industrial Training Institute (ITI)
- Sainik Public School
“These institutions are not merely buildings but strong pillars of rural self-reliance,” the Chief Minister said.
Healthcare and Education Facilities Boosting Rural Employment
CM Yogi highlighted that the Gramin Sainik Hospital would strengthen healthcare services in rural areas, while the Nursing College is offering ANM, GNM, BSc Nursing and Post Basic BSc courses.
The Pharmacy College is providing D Pharma and B Pharma education, while the ITI is equipping local youth with technical skills and employment opportunities.
The Sainik Public School is also providing quality education to children from the region.
According to the Chief Minister, these institutions are creating jobs locally and helping prevent migration from villages to cities.
“Mau, which once struggled with an identity crisis, is now gaining a new identity because of these institutions,” he said.
CM Yogi Highlights PM Modi’s Panch Pran Vision
During his speech, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Panch Pran” vision announced during Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
He said the vision aims to transform India into a developed nation by the time the country completes 100 years of independence.
CM Yogi explained the five resolutions as:
- Pride in India’s heritage and great historical personalities
- Elimination of colonial mindset
- Building “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”
- Respect for soldiers and security forces
- Honest discharge of civic responsibilities
The Chief Minister emphasized that soldiers protecting the nation under extreme conditions deserve the highest respect from every citizen.
Villages Must Become Self-Reliant for Viksit Bharat: CM
CM Yogi said the dream of a “Viksit Bharat” can only be achieved when villages become self-reliant and economically empowered.
“States will progress when districts develop, and districts will develop only when villages like Tajopur become self-reliant,” he stated.
He added that institutions such as hospitals, schools, nursing colleges and ITIs form the foundation of an “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.
UP Government Assures Support for Nation-Building Efforts
The Chief Minister praised Brigadier Dr. P. N. Singh’s dedication to social service and nation-building over the past 15 years and described his life as an inspiration for society.
He assured that the Uttar Pradesh government would continue supporting initiatives focused on excellence, public welfare and national interest.
Several dignitaries, including Minister A. K. Sharma, Minister Dara Singh Chauhan, Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh, BJP District President Ramashray Maurya and Brigadier Dr. P. N. Singh, were also present at the event.
