India will soon use indigenously developed semiconductor chips in its space rockets, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced. The move strengthens the India Semiconductor Mission and boosts the country’s ambition to become a global chip manufacturing hub.
New Delhi: India is set to achieve a major milestone in its technology and space sectors, with future space rockets expected to use indigenously developed semiconductor chips. Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the development, calling it a significant step towards strengthening India’s self-reliance in advanced technology.
