Washington: Google has officially released the first teaser for its upcoming Pixel 11 Pro Fold, confirming that the next-generation foldable smartphone will make its global debut on August 12. The teaser offers a brief glimpse of the device’s design while building anticipation for the company’s flagship hardware launch event.
The short promotional video showcases the Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s sleek foldable silhouette, providing a look at its expansive inner display and the familiar rear camera module. The camera design appears largely unchanged from the previous Pixel 10 Pro Fold, suggesting Google is focusing on internal upgrades rather than a major design overhaul.
Although Google has not revealed the complete specifications, multiple industry leaks indicate that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will feature an 8-inch foldable OLED inner display and will be powered by Google’s next-generation Tensor G6 chipset, designed to deliver improved AI performance, enhanced photography, and better energy efficiency.
The foldable flagship is also expected to include a 4,800mAh battery, offering longer battery life, along with a new Pixel Glow LED integrated into the rear camera module for notifications and visual alerts. According to leaked renders, the smartphone may launch in a new Pine colour option alongside a classic Black variant.
