Oppo has reportedly revised the pricing of several smartphones in India, including the Oppo A6, Oppo A6 Pro and Oppo F33 series. The latest price adjustment sees some models becoming costlier by as much as ₹3,000, impacting buyers across the mid-range smartphone segment.
The move comes amid rising component costs and growing pressure on smartphone manufacturers to maintain profitability in a highly competitive market.
Oppo A6 and A6 Pro Get Price Hike
According to updated retail listings, the Oppo A6 Pro now starts at ₹26,999 for the base variant, while the higher storage model is priced at ₹28,999. The device was previously available at a lower launch price, making the latest revision one of the biggest increases in Oppo’s recent portfolio.
The standard Oppo A6 models have also witnessed price increases across storage variants, making the entry-level 5G lineup more expensive for consumers.
Oppo F33 Series Also Affected
The Oppo F33 and Oppo F33 Pro, launched earlier this year with a focus on design, durability and battery life, have also seen revised pricing in the market. The F33 series originally launched with prices starting from ₹31,999, while the Pro model debuted at ₹37,999.
Industry observers note that the latest adjustments further push Oppo’s premium mid-range devices into a more competitive pricing bracket, where they face strong competition from brands such as OnePlus, iQOO, Nothing and Samsung.
Why Are Smartphone Prices Rising?
The smartphone industry has been dealing with higher memory and component costs, along with increasing investments in AI-powered features and software capabilities. Several manufacturers have revised prices across product categories in recent months.
The latest Oppo price hike reflects a broader trend in the market, where brands are adjusting retail prices to offset rising production expenses and maintain margins.
Impact on Buyers
For consumers planning to purchase an Oppo smartphone, the revised pricing means paying more for the same hardware. Buyers looking at the Oppo A6, A6 Pro or F33 series may now want to compare alternatives in similar price segments before making a purchase decision.
Despite the higher prices, Oppo continues to position these devices around premium design, long battery life, durability certifications and offline retail availability.
